Dean of Computer Science and Information Systems Faculty (CS/IS) at the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (www.ssst.edu.ba). She holds a Ph.D. degree from the International Digital Laboratory, Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick, United Kingdom.

Has an MSc (2009) and a BSc (2006) with honors from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was a Coordinator of CS/IS Department in period of 2009-2011 and a Curriculum Committee member from 2007-2011. In 2013, started a first Computer Graphics club where she is working on a development of educational computer games with student members.

In 2019, Dr. Ramić-Brkić participated in launching a new dual degree (Bsc) in Game Design and Development (https://ssst.edu.ba/page/661/gaming-program), where the University SSST once again took the lead in becoming the only university in the region to offer a 3-year undergraduate degree in gaming. More than that, it offers a unique, globally competitive program, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that meets both the technical and the artistic challenges of his fast-paces industry. Partnering with Primetime Production, one of the most successful independent game production and film animation studios in this part of Europe – producing games for, among other, Sony Play Station, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Xbox; the program is merging academic excellence with real industry experience.

Dr. Ramić-Brkić has published papers at international conferences and journals and is interested in research topics such as serious games, visualization and visual perception, multi-modal perception, cultural digitalization, human computer interaction, database systems, data mining techniques and applications, and ICT in education. She is particularly interested in doing further research in development of serious games with applications in early childhood development. The work on two such games is being published as book chapters in “The series Lecture Notes in Network and Systems” by Springer.
