I was born on October 6, 1985 in Doboj. I grew up in Maglaj, in a family home with my parents, older sister and younger brother. I belong to a generation that grew up in the pre-internet age, and my childhood is warlike and I have the earliest memories of the beginning of the war.

I finished elementary school and high school in my hometown of Maglaj, and then continued my studies in Sarajevo. I loved sports and guided by my desires I enrolled at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Sarajevo.

My wife and I met early, somewhere at the beginning of my studies, and already in my second year I decided to get married. My wife and I got our first daughter soon after the wedding, so we learned to balance student life with parenting and securing a livelihood. The opportunity for my first work experience was provided by Andrea & Giovani, after Andrea & Company where I worked on sales and business improvement. I stayed in this company for nine years and I am grateful for the experience I gained during that period. They are priceless. In those nine years, I studied, worked and became the parent of another girl.

For almost four years, ie until the moment of my candidacy for the mayor of Novi Grad Sarajevo, I worked in managerial positions in one of the most famous IT companies. At that time, I also attended management education programs at Adizes Leadership Programs.

For the past ten years, I have been attracted to the idea of ​​social engagement because I did not want to accept hopelessness, so I founded a fair play association with a group of enthusiasts, which has been organizing the Fair Play indoor league for adults and children for many years.

During all those years and dozens of socially beneficial projects, I built attitudes and gained experiences that significantly shaped my life, so I was ready to take the offer to get involved in politics and decided that I wanted to take the risk of politics.

As the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, I face new challenges every day. Creating a better business environment in Canton is the basic description of my job and I am maximally committed to making it happen.
