Dr. sci. Zehrudin Osmanović, full professor, was born on September 2, 1966. in the municipality of Lukavac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He finished primary and secondary school in Lukavac with excellent results in all grades.

After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Technology, University of Banja Luka, Department of Chemical Technology, where he graduated on November 20, 1990. years. He is also employed at the same Faculty as an assistant researcher (1990-1992).

At the Faculty of Technology, University of Zagreb, he completed a postgraduate study (1991-1992) in the field of Chemical Engineering.

In 1994, he was employed at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, at the Department of Chemical Engineering.

On 24.12.1999. At the Faculty of Technology in Tuzla, he publicly defended his master 's thesis entitled "Modeling block of evaporators - crystallizers for the synthesis of electrolytic alkali concentration systems" and obtained the scientific degree of Master of Chemical Engineering.

In 1994, he was elected as an assistant, and in 1999 as a senior assistant.

On 26.08.2005, at the Faculty of Technology in Tuzla, he publicly defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Development of mathematical modules of process units and optimization of technological parameters of cement production" and acquired the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of process engineering.

In 2006, he was elected assistant professor of the subjects "Process Analysis and Simulation" and "Chemical Computing" at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla.

In 2011, he was elected to the scientific-teaching title of associate professor for the narrow scientific field of "Process Engineering" at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla.

On December 21, 2016, he chose the scientific-teaching title of full professor in the scientific field of "Chemical Engineering".

He is a lecturer in postgraduate doctoral, graduate and undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla (Material and energy balances of processes, Introduction to chemical engineering, Mechanical, thermal and diffusion operations, Process measurement technology, Measurement, regulation and automation of processes, etc.).

He is scientifically engaged in the development of mathematical modules and optimization of technological parameters in the chemical process industry with a special orientation towards the cement industry and environmental protection.

He has published more than 30 original scientific papers in journals cited by CC, SCI, SCIex and in proceedings of international conferences.

He is the co-author of two university textbooks "Production of Portland - cement" and "Strength and durability of cement composites" as well as the book "Process - food engineering" which are included in the teaching literature at the faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tuzla, Zenica, Sarajevo) as well as abroad (Zagreb, Split, Ljubljana).

It is especially worth mentioning the innovative work and awards at important international gatherings in Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, North Korea, Turkey, France, Poland, Morocco and others. ) gkje was mostly awarded gold medals.

He was a collaborator on several projects in the field of quality assurance and in the field of higher education implemented at the University of Tuzla. He is the leader of several scientific research projects funded by the federal and state ministries in BiH.

He is a collaborator of a number of professional projects implemented in the process industry, the leader of one doctoral thesis, 4 master's theses and more than 90 graduate and final theses. He specialized at the universities of Tarragona, Girona and Alicante (Spain) and Adiyaman and Alanya (Turkey).

He is a member of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH, HEA, external expert for accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs of Montenegro and the Association of Innovators of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a permanent member of the Balkan Environmental Association, B.EN.A.

He is currently an employee of the University of Tuzla, Faculty of Technology in a permanent employment as a full professor.
